Who is behind The Looted Art Claims Project?

Walmsley Fine Art Advisory is a firm formed in London in 2010 and based in Switzerland since 2016. Focusing only on European Impressionist & Modern Art; the firm's methodology focuses on the recovery, assessment, analysis, contextualisation and secure reporting of critical historical and due diligence related data.

With the fundamental lack of transparency by 'experts', the extensive poor management of accurate verifiable historical records and the evolution of data analysis techniques; the firm develops tailored research products to address the significant risks Artworks present in terms of authenticity and restitution.

Walmsley Fine Art Advisory also sets market leading standards in Document Security both in the physical Certificates and Reports produced and their recallable digital twins built into an encrypted log.

Our aim is to strengthen the protection of Artworks into their future by their connection to safeguarded quality reporting. Our security practices for the first time guarantee the reliability of the information reported to the holders of Artworks.

Strategic Research

Active in assessing, isolating, structuring and safe- guarding materials for projects that hold significant and protective cultural value; the firm has built relations with International Institutional, Governmental & Private Archives and Libraries.

Driven Project Implementation

The pace and execution of projects is dramatically enhanced by the firm being an Independent critical Investor in high impact, data driven research projects.

This has led us to develop one of the largest European Impressionist & Modern Art Libraries & Archives in the World.

A Developer of Standardisation

The firm's due diligence practices employ clear methodologies to the data structuring and analysis of historical materials in combination with OSINT techniques.

A Catalyser for Change

The firm is a pioneer in the development of secure, certified, verifiable and standardised reporting practices and products focused on risk mitigation; directly combating the prevalent risk factors inherent within the Art Market.
